Now the project comes to end - the tax declaration for the Lithuanian Tax Department will be soon finished once more, the objects of art will be transported to Austria, right after the reports we had given the institution VEKS has disappeared already - and i am faced with all what we have produced during these years.
I have been constantly and regularly taking pictures since May 2007
and they are tracing my memory to find again, to still organise and often they have been the only thing i could do as an artist.
But mainly these images served as an ongoing representation for what our intentions with this project looked like. During meetings, when we lacked the right language to speak,

We are getting used to meet each other outside the gate every day, there is always someone late but never the same person and our flow of digital communication is not needed constantly.
The daily ritual of unlocking the big iron gate outside and locking it carefully behind us again.
Barbed wire and the experience of being inside the former prison compound , Anja using the akku drill to undo the screw at the small wooden door and adapting the handle to be able to open it and then already exhausted handing out the key so someone would hopefully open the next iron gate into the former prison is not at all routine yet but we use much less time for all this than in the beginning.

Next week i will be travelling again to Vilnius.
The website should be in a state that it will be obvious how the drupal content management system (CMS) can be used in a collaborative environment and how this meets the basic outlines of the project.
Not sure yet if i can manage this.

Inspired by the location Vilnius and the information we have collected so far we construct a project by writing the application to VEKS - European Culture Capital in Vilnius 2009. We know about the critical experiences our friends at http://www.constantvzw.org have collected in Brussels in 2000, we discuss creative industries which trigger these Culture-Capitals (vice versa) Quite aware with all the experience of being an activist and an artist for many years in different cultural and political circumstances and quite presumptuous as well we want to develop a model how visiting Europeans as well as local individuals still can benefit from it. The decision that the European Institute for Equality will be located in this city and our interest how women organisations have developed in this context over the recent years is part of our motivation.

Marie Francoise und ich suchen eine Hausnummer in der XXXXStrasse. Wir haben einen weiteren Termin mit einer litauischen Künstlerin. Gestern am 1. Mai waren alle Museum und Gebäude geschlossen und bei kühlem regnerischen Wetter sind wir mit verschiedensten Bus kreuz und quer durch die Stadt gefahren bis wir zuletzt uns mit der Aussicht vom Fernsehturm einen Überblick verschafft haben
